Beautiful long haired 2019 Friesian Gelding, imported in 2024 through Black Sterling Friesians. In addition to his dressage and driving training in the Netherlands, Jitske has been in professional training (western) for the past 18 months to nurture softness and expose him to everything. He lives on an active ranch with cows, dogs, guns, wildlife, ATVs, construction vehicles, lots of kids in riding lessons, clinics and events. The goal has been to develop a well rounded horse in Western riding disciplines (low level cow sorting, trail riding... anything that seems fun!) for the whole family. Jitske has miles of trail experience in rugged Montana mountains, crossed streams and rivers, will stand tied to a tree, has mounted shooting clinic training, sorted cattle, and he can pony a younger horse on the trails by himself. He is very easy to catch, good ground manners, no vices, friendly, a gentleman with his feet, easy to groom/tack, and he will move over to the mounting block and stay put until you are ready to walk off. Selling due to owner health reasons (upcoming surgery and needing a smaller horse). Paid $50k to purchase and import Jitse, and he's been in training 2-3 x per week for the past 18 months.
