A Tempting Thought - Registered 2010 16.2hh Arab / Saddlebred Gelding
There are a few jobs that I think will work for him…
1. Sport horse / dressage type on Arab circuit
2. Would make an amazing dressage horse. He has the buttons and has done 1st level
3. Loves the show ring, but I think for someone who doesn’t have show goals he would also have a blast because of his versatility
4. Could transition easily back to Country Pleasure / Costume
Tango is a super good boy and really wants to please his rider, however, he does not want to be an over fence horse full time, it is just too much for his brain. He has a motor, but is also a kick ride at the same time, he loves to work. Stands for vet and farrier, loads great. Has shown allover the US. He currently lives outside 24/7 at our farm with a mini donkey. He is grain free, just alfalfa and pellets soaked for his supplements. He does have 4 shoes, but only because he is jumping. Previously he only wore fronts with me when we were only flatting. He has been exposed to a lot since the being with me, we go to a roping pen twice a week and “chase” cows, he stands tied to the trailer or the pen at the ranch arena. Ridden out in the open, fields and trail riding. He tends to be looky at first and then gets over it. He does have yearly maintenance of his hocks which started about 2 1/2 years ago.
