Sharkbait is a cute little pony sized mustang, standing around 13.2 hh. He is 13 years old and has a sad story.

I do not know all the details, but his original adopter treated him horribly and he was discarded with rope burns and scars in many places on his body. He has passed hands many times since then, as he had no trust in people and this made him difficult to handle. Since he came into his trainer’s hands, she has fixed his bolting problem and several other small issues as well. He now catches, leads, loads, ties, grooms all over, and stands for her to trim him. He still can be guarded around new people and sometimes flinches at sudden unpredictable movements. Despite this, she has been able to saddle him with the western and English saddle. He also carries a bridle. She has sat on him with great success and his trust and relaxation was evident as he yawned several times. He needs someone with patience, kindness, and understanding to help him continue his path.
