Waylon is a 2009 17hh KWPN gelding with winning mileage in all 3 rings through the 3’6”. Waylon has taken our rider off of a lesson pony at the 2’ and moved her up in the hunter and equitation rings for the last four years. He could easily transition back to the jumper ring as well. He is looking to step down and would be an excellent first horse for a teenager or adult amateur. He is a comfortable uphill kick ride, has always been extremely brave and forgiving, and has an excellent lead change. He will jump from any distance and never holds a grudge. He is the same horse every day whether he has been turned out or not or ridden recently. He loads, stands for farrier, crossties, clips, and does all the other things a show horse should do. He gets minimal prep, does not need to see the jumps, and can be counted on to go in the ring and do his job. He is easy to live with in the barn and good to travel with. He currently goes in a Pelham for our rider as he can get heavy. With no other quirks or vices he is a simple and sweet guy. Priced in the low fives as he does require maintenance and has a medical history, and is not currently very fit. A knowledgeable program and loving home is most important.
