Very special pony looking for his perfect person. "Kizmet 54" aka "kizzy" is a 12 yr old, 13.2hh, friesian cross pony. This pony is absolutely gorgeous with an intelligent and unique personality. I have owned him for two years. He came to me as a barely handled, unbroken and severally abused basket case. I have broke him and ride him frequently, mostly on trails. Here's some of his pro's- He does ride alone or in a group. He has been to a few fun shows and trailered to various locations for different trails. He has the nickname "mountain goat" as he is incredibly sure-footed and will ride over any terrain you point him too. He has very smooth gaits, incredibly cute movement (he looks like a mini friesian), sound barefoot, although I'll throw front boots on him to protect him if doing really long rides or really rocky terrain. He always has brakes and never behaves dangerously. Now, the Con's- he is incredibly sensitive, he is a more nervous type pony and relys on his rider for confidence, with a confident rider he will do anything. He absolutely, under no circumstances should be handled or ridden by children. He will form a strong bond with his "person" once bonded he is in your pocket and all about you. He will kick out of fear, never malicious, but surprise him or handled him wrong and he will give a warning. He has some permanent scars and a blind spot in his right eye from his previous abuse. He would thrive with a young or small adult who wants a pony to bond with and focus on. He would excel at liberty work and trail riding.. maybe even low level eventing(he does like to jump) he needs patience, understanding and a calm, confident leader. I adore this pony and love riding and working with him, unfortunately I am a bit to heavy for him and my primary focus is endurance riding, due to his nerves around new people, he is not a candidate for endurance. He is for sale or lease. You must be willing to come meet him a few times and agree to a trail period. I do not want him to end up passed around or back in a bad situation. He will always have a home with me, im just hoping to find him a job and someone who can really enjoy him. Message me with questions or for video or more pictures.
