Margaret, 15.3 hh, 2010 AQHA chestnut mare Sound, sane and safe!! Marge is a lovely mare that is getting fit and tuned up after having the winter off. She was previously used in western disciplines, but we feel that due to her big step and movement, she’d make a great hunter/ all around English horse. She started cantering crossrail courses last week, and is improving quickly. Shes steady and quiet to fences. More woah than go. She is easy going and has a great brain. You show something to her once and then she won’t blink at it again. She has a great personality, and meets you at the gate, happy to get loved on. No quirks on the ground or under saddle. When she spooks (which is rare) she startles in place. No spin, buck, bolt. She’d love a home with a quiet, kind rider. Great on trails and around cows. Loads, ties, bathes, lunges, great manners.
