Paprika has finished her training with me and is ready to be loved by her own family.
This 30inch, 10 year old, Varnish Appaloosa is as gently as them come & a true unicorn kid’s pony.
She has been used on lead line for all levels of kiddos. This little lady is BOMB PROOF!
Cars, tractors, 4 wheelers, dogs, goats, geese & turkeys & chickens - you name it, she’s seen it and does not mind one bit.
Paprika is lead line broke and very kid friendly. She has more whoa than go and lots of patience.
The only reason she isn’t broke to free ride is that she has no motivation to move forward most days. I’ve turned kiddos loose on her and she just follows me around. However if you can get her going, she does stop and do turns when asked.
She is barefoot & stands well for the farrier for trims. Kids can pick her feet no trouble at all.
This mare loads like a dream, I’ve loaded her in the tack room of my trailer as well as with the big horses in the back.
Paprika is also good in all terrain. Up and down steep rocky slopes, in ditches and puddles, jumping on and off of obstacles, etc.
All you need to do is ask & she will go!
She is easily handled by children, for those more independent cowboys and cowgirls.
Your little one can load, saddle, and do everything else themselves!!! Paprika is incredibly patient and versatile.
She has many years of potential ahead to help kiddos learn to ride. With her personality I think she could be an incredible therapy pony, possibly even as a brood mare if you want to go that direction.
She really isn’t bothered by much of anything at all and once she’s bonded to your kiddo she’ll come running.
There’s honestly not enough I can say about this mare, she’s the perfect first pony.
