Dreamers Enchanted Koda “Koda” is a 2012 registered APHA mare looking for a new home!
Koda baths, loads, stands for the farrier, currently barefoot, good on the ground , no buck bite or rear. Easy to tack up and good with other horses.
Been roped off lightly, past owners introduced her to the barrel pattern and cows. I’ve had to put a lot of work into basics such as walk and trot as she lacked some basic foundation when I got her.
Works off leg pressure well, collects up, good backup, quick flying lead changes, very forward mover. Started building a spin and she took it very well! Drops her head to pressure etc.
She’s a sweetheart on the ground and easy to work with, she has a lot of go and wants to work. She’s on the greener side and needs consistency but would make a great barrel prospect. I just don’t have the time or need for a barrel horse right now! She’s been sitting all winter due to not having an arena. I was riding her 5 days a week in the summer and she really improved.
Hauled to different locations multiple times with no issues. Showed inhand halter and showmanship. Would also make a good broodmare as she’s built well and has a great mind. Her biggest quirk is being quick under saddle and wanting to run, I’ve been able to train a lot of it out of her. Selling is no fault of her own, I just don’t have the time for her!
