Rip is a 3 Yr. Old Titled Gelding from Palomino Buttes HMA, Oregon. Rip is a Dunalino who stands 15 and 1/2" at last measurement. I put 15.2 as he's young and still maturing. We adopted Rip as a weanling; he is Titled and current on vaccinations and worming. Rip has nice big Mustang feet but because we ride in rugged, very rocky terrain he has shoes on. Rip is well mannered, loads willingly, ties quiet and ground ties to be groomed or have his feet worked on. Rip has been ridden where there's Elk, Deer, Antelope, Wild Horses, Cattle, Chukar, all kinds of waterfowl since a slough runs through our place. so, lots of water crossings. When I don't go my husband rides alone except his dog, so Rip is used to a dog on his heels. We move our horses from pasture to pasture, pens in/out of barn so he's comfortable wherever you put him. No vices, never been sick or injured, nice horse to be around. His riding has been mainly here, on trails and in the mountains, he could use experience with different riders and riding in town or events. He does some obstacles, the plank, climbs tires, small bridges, etc. We feel our Mustangs deserve a home with some acreage so they can graze or run if they want, no boarding. On temperament I put 5 but only because he's young. He's Gentle and Kind but with a young horse, different people, different home hard to judge. Otherwise, I'd put him at a 3. Questions are welcome. This is not a rush sale so we're picky about the homes our Mustangs go to so tell me about your horsemanship level, facilities and plans for you and Rip. Photos are appreciated. He has a file of pictures on our Heart B Ranch Page in Photos on fb, if you can't access let me know and I'll try to send a link.
