Meet Sparky — a silver-dapple stunner with plenty of pep! This flashy 6-year-old, 39” miniature paint gelding is a total sweetheart and an “in-your-pocket” kind of pony. Sparky is being offered as a companion pony, but he’s also broke to both drive and ride. If you’re simply looking for a loving, easy-to-handle companion, Sparky is a great fit—even for beginner horse people.
However, if you plan to drive or ride him, he’s best suited for an experienced home. Sparky is a forward, responsive pony under harness and saddle—fun and capable, but not a deadhead. Previously used as a school cart pony in Missouri, he was driven to school daily by children and did great—but he will move out and enjoys a job. He’s also been ridden by kids, but he’s too much pony for the small riders we have here, so we’re not offering him as a finished riding pony.
Sparky is fun, flashy, and has started learning tricks! For an additional $500, we’re happy to keep him for another month and finish his trick training—which includes fun behaviors like sitting, laying down, and carrying props.
He’s up-to-date on vaccines, dental, deworming, and farrier work, and is microchipped for extra peace of mind. With great ground manners and a loving nature, Sparky is ready to brighten someone’s barn and heart!
