We've had this horse in a lesson program since 2019 and she has taught people to ride over and over again. She has taught many students to canter and jump. She never holds a grudge. If the rider messes up she might not just go over the fence, but if they come back a second, third or even fourth time and do it right, she will reward them with a nice jump or she will exicuter the exercise rather than getting sour and not do t even when the rider gets it right.
She loads, clips, stands for the farrier, gets a bath. She rides both English and Western. We got her in 2018 from Red Revelle when he retired from training. She's done hunter paces and done cross country, jumps 2'6" easily and has carried riders in their first jumping class over crossrails.
She is not for a small child, but she has given lessons to a lot of rider just out of the hang on and cry level. She is an easy keeper and goes without shoes as well as with them. Her one "hole" is that she will circle you when you saddle her and she doesn't tie to saddle.
Our house burned to the ground last winter and we are cutting down on lessons as we try to get it rebuilt and get our lives back.
