“Our Bright Star” Hazy 2014. 15.3 $4000. Located in Ventura, CA.

Retired in 2018 after 4 starts. Was used as a broodmare after retirement and had one foal. Was ridden consistently in 2024 then has been sitting for a good portion of 2025 and needs to be tuned up again. She is very sweet, sensitive, loves to work, and does best being worked often and when she has a person she can bond with. Excellent ground manners, and will stand while you poke and prod her. Does great with other horses, cows, and especially loves sheep. This past fall was doing very well, moving off of leg pressure, bending well, and was riding trails alone. Had some beginners on her as well, but she does need a rider with soft hands, is sensitive. Will jig when she is excited and needs a firm gentle hand to work her through it. Is on the hotter side and needs someone who is confident but also sensitive. She will sometimes kick in the trailer. She is sound, sometimes I put boots on her because she has soft soles, but other than that her feet are excellent. No medical issues.
