Came to me after sitting on the backburner through the winter. Now ready for a kid of his own. Safe, safe, safe and such a sweet gentleman. Zero spook.
Stands for the farrier and crossties like a statue. Baths like a champ (as long as the water is warm, a bit of a princess there). Hacks in the hunt field and trailers like a pro.
Beginner safe w/t. Will trot on the buckle with a tot. Best suited for an intermediate rider for cantering and jumping. Steer with leg, push ride type, crop/spur needed. Not dead to leg, but needs a kid who can kick. Lightly started on flying changes and showing good effort.
I see Tater being the perfect pony for a kid wanting to move up from the crossrails. Such a snuggly pony, I believe he would excel with having one person to love on him indefinitely.
Barefoot with no current maintenance needed. Up to date on everything. 2025 coggins in hand.
