"Rip" is a kind and talented 9-year-old, 15-2 hand gelding. He is foundation bred with cow horse royalty! With Doc Bar and Pitzer bloodlines, he is bred to do a job and work! He's a beautiful mover who knows his stops, backups, spins, rollbacks, and lead departures. He ground ties, stands tied, easy to catch, loads, hauls, and loves the farrier. He has a nice ground covering walk for the trails and goes over a big scary bridges, crosses water. He has been ridden in the mountains, on the trails, and on my ranch. He's plenty cowy and spent two months with a cutting horse trainer as well as a reining horse trainer. He has done some light team sorting. Rip Works off verbal cues and your seat, lowers his head for the halter and bridle. Lay him off in the winter and get right back on in the Spring! Ride him barefoot or shod. He rides in a bosal/mecate or a bridle. Rip is well mannered with NO buck, kick, bite...etc Rip is on the sensitive, feely side and is best suited for an intermediate/advanced horseman. He is NOT a beginner's horse! I've owned and ridden him consistently for the last 4 years. It saddens me to have to sell this great horse, but I'm getting older and need to free him up to someone who can give him a job. Current on Coggins, VAX, worming, teeth. Guaranteed sound.
