I purchased Dixie out of Kentucky and then had an unrelated accident and am now disabled and unable to ride. Dixie is such a people horse. She comes running when you call her. Loves to be with you in the pasture. Loves to walk, trot and canter right alongside you. She is broke, I was only on her two times before my accident and noticed nothing untoward. She is a mare and can have marish tendencies. She needs someone who will be her leader. I've seen her go through water, up stairs, through a tarp type car wash, stand for a whip and a UTV going around her honking its horn. Her previous owner drove her in a cart. I know nothing about driving and cannot attest to her abilities. I do have video I can show you of her driving and riding through an obstacle course. While I fought to recover, (unsuccessfully), she has been a pasture pet. She is the sweetest mare and deserves her own person. Experienced rider recommended as she has sat for a couple years. Teeth done 2024, new shoes June 3,2025. Dixie does have a slight club foot but you would never know it with proper foot care.
