Victory Checks (aka Moxie) is a SUPER sweet 5yo mare, I’m always on the fence about selling.
She’s very easy to have around, willing and smart. Sound. And bred very well! Dam has PE $150k+. She’s 14hh & THICK. She’d be an excellent broodmare— her dam stamps amazing minds/athleticism on her foals & i think she will too. 5 panel N/N. UTD on everything including teeth.
The only reason we’re considering selling now is that we have too many younger horses at present— and because she’s so easy to have around she seems to fall thru the cracks when picking which horses to focus on.
She was started by Hayden Upton in cutting for 10 months as a 2yo. Then she was turned out to grow and has intermittently worked on versatility— she’s been shown once for exposure.
𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 that you can trust the littlest kids to handle and even cruising around the arena WTL. She prefers the lower gears so this is a horse that will never take off with them.
She has a great start cutting & the versatility game— with someone who can spend consistent time working her, she’ll finish out easily.
Her price is fair for her breeding (in the lower end of 5 figures) — but like all things, is 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 based on the home and her potential future life.
