After much consideration, I am offering my awesome gypsy vanner gelding Dante to a perfect match only. I have had him since he was four, and we’ve had quite the journey! I am on the shorter side and petite, and have fallen madly in love with riding the smaller Icelandics, as well as devoting my time to caring for our senior horses, and training my filly. As such, I would really like to find him a person who would be crazy about Dante like he deserves! There is also the option to board him on my property for a reasonable rate so he can continue living here. (Which I would love!) I know boarding is difficult to come by, and one of my requirements in a new home for him is that he is rarely, if ever, stalled, and can be with at least one buddy, but ideally a herd. (Which he does perfectly in). Priority will be given to local folks. No sight unseen buyers, I would want to meet you and for you to meet Dante, and see if you would be good partners. UTD on all vaccines, worming, and farrier care. Price somewhat negotiable to the right person/situation, especially if you kept him here. Link to his ad on FB below, it's much longer. Also, I would be giving his new person a binder with everything I know about him and what I do for his care. You would be more than welcome to stay in touch too! 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/emmaline.jones.96/posts/pfbid0NXXS3mFF9Sgs3pQfCQKz7tSWZXwXBN1unDZjmjjeULWprnawfnVWP3ZXU1ggrWU3l - Beautiful! - Extremely sweet tempered and goofy. He cracks me up with his antics. - Athletic and strong, plus a gorgeous mover. He was initially trained as a dressage horse. - Barefoot! He wears Cavallo hoof boots if I am riding him on hard/rocky terrain. (I would give those to you). - Super solid foundation training by Susan Wirgler, whom I bought him from years ago. - Recall trained to a certain whistle. - Has been used for horseback riding and horsemanship lessons with both kids and adults, started training in mounted archery, and modeled in many photoshoots with me and with clients! - Fantastic trail horse! Tons of miles under his girth haha. He is pretty unflappable, I ride him alone around our property with traffic, wildlife, sprinklers turning on randomly, dogs charging, etc. He’s a cool cucumber. When I was less busy, I would also trailer him to different parks and ride either by myself, or with friends. - Water horse!! Loves the beach and going in the ocean, or any water source. I have often taken him to the beach on a longline just so he can wade in the water, run around and roll, and generally have a good time. - Has had a show career with past owner, and with me. We have won many English classes at local schooling shows, and the Festival of the Gypsies breed show. Very low in the herd dominance ranking, and as long as the horse isn’t too mean to him, he literally gets along and makes friends with everyone. - Will always try to do what you ask of him, even if he doesn’t
