Bean is a very cute 2021 APHA mare with the small size, bloodlines and color to drop some awesome cowy foals. Bean sustained a left hamstring injury that has since scarred over. It does not bother her (per multiple vets), however it does inhibit her movement. It is possible that with continued rehab, Bean may be able to handle regular riding again, but this is implied and not guaranteed. I am selling her as broodmare sound as she has on days and off days and needs someone willing to understand where she’s at, and either rehab her to regular work or allow her to enjoy life as a perfect broodmare. Her papers prove some solid cutting/cowhorse potential and she is an agile mover when she is feeling good. Bean is a touch more polished than green broke- she would probably be considered handy broke: she neck reins, moves off leg, spins and stops, lopes both ways. She is a sweet little mare, however I do not have a breeding program and am not currently in a position to provide the continued rehab she deserves. I bought her for the sole purpose of reining, working cowhorse which is simply not in her near future. She has no vices that I have seen. Not a kid horse, she is easy to be around but needs the wisdom and understanding of an experienced individual especially given her current soundness issue. She is utd on shoes, vax- teeth could be done soon. Lifetime brand inspection, done in Oregon.
