Belle is a 2016 Thoroughbred mare standing 16.2hh, with the kind of presence and brain everyone wants. I’ve had the privilege of owning Belle for the past five years, and she has truly become a part of the family. Making the tough decision to sell due to school—I'm transferring to a new university and simply don’t have the time she deserves.

I purchased Belle in 2020, and she came with me when I moved to Hawaii, where we spent three years together. While in Hawaii, Belle received dressage training, gaining a solid flatwork foundation. Though show opportunities were scarce on the islands, Belle stayed in consistent work, and she truly thrived. In 2023, we flew her back to the mainland for my move to college, and she’s now been located in Cle Elum, WA for the past two years.

Belle has been XC schooling as well as show jumping, and she’s proven herself bold, and willing. While her formal show record is limited, she was brought into a local western gaming show last year, and handled the atmosphere like a pro, even came home with ribbons. With the right rider to bring her along, she’s got upper-level eventing potential—but she’s also kind and quiet enough to tote around a beginner.

She’s a dream on the ground—cross-ties, trailers well, great for the farrier, and has no vices. Belle is solid at walk, trot, canter, with loads of trail experience, and she’s happy to go out alone or in a group. She’s been ridden in a variety of environments and is the same horse wherever you take her. She's very fun and is willing to please.

Belle would thrive in a program where she can continue to grow—she’s athletic, smart, and has all the ingredients for a fun and successful eventing career. This is a very reluctant sale, so the right home is an absolute priority.
