Alfie is ready for his person. I took this guy in 6 weeks ago as pretty much unhandled, never haltered, never had his hooves trimmed....nothing. He was underweight and a bit of a sad mess. I've done the hard part and put in the time and money. He's been vetted, gelded, fully vaccinated w/ boosters, dewormed (twice), hooves trimmed (twice), leads & ties, and learned to enjoy grain. I put Alfie out to pasture now to gain weight and blossom, which he has tremendously. He has a beautiful thick tail and his forelock has potential to be very long. He needs a person to spend more one on one time with him to continue learning confidence around people. I got him healthy, however he has a lot of growing to do that is happening quickly and his conformation is all over the place and his confidence needs reassuring. It will be important that he stays on a routine hoof trimming schedule as well. I take in a few each summer to give a chance. I believe he will be a big boy and is going to be absolutely stunning as time continues. If the right person doesn't come along, I will keep him through the winter where he will get handled daily. Alfie could be a really nice winter project for someone and the end result could be amazing and very rewarding. Located in Owen Wi Price is firm Yearling gelding appy horse
