Large Marge is a big, beautiful, beefy and super gentle six year old, 16.1 hand draft cross mare. This is a very get along kind of girl. She is quiet minded, smooth, traveling, and gets along beautifully turned out with all other horses and does not act mareish. In the arena, Marge will collect up nicely and has a nice smooth jog. Takes her leads and has a great stop! Backs soft and will side pass with ease to work the gates. Marge is outstanding to ride out anywhere. When riding in our urban environment, she is calm and settled as we ride past the mini farm animals, the neighborhood dogs that run up at us as we ride by as well as all the fast passing cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles. On the trail, she is equally as solid. Marge will lead, follow or ride quietly in any position of a group as well as out on her own. Crosses the river, creeks, deadfall, and Trail Bridge like the seasoned Trail Horse that she is. She navigates our steep and rugged terrain like a pro and is an absolute pleasure to ride out in rough country. Marge has been in good hands, her whole life and it shows.
