4 year old quarter horse cross palomino mare named Kimber. Kimber is super sweet and trainable. I bought her as an unhandled 3 year old in May last year and took the first ride in July of the same year. Now she rides wtc and backup, but still a project. Asking what I paid. Pros: No buck, rear, kick, bite Good for vet and farrier Good on roads and trails Good with fly spray, garden hose Leads, ties, loads into horse trailer, stands for tacking Not spooky, good with traffic Very easygoing, good with new things (the other day a put a harness on her and she didn't care) She has one big con: She has Uveitis (moon blindness) and is blind in her left eye because of it. Watching her in the videos, you would not know that she had eye trouble. The cars all go by on her blind side and she doesn't mind. She is on Firocoxib (1 tablet per day) to keep the inflammation down and occasionally needs eye ointment (during a flare up). She has to wear a UV protective fly mask at all times (because UV rays are what cause flare ups). Pros about the con: She has a great attitude and is super good with everything, very cooperative. When I put ointment in her eye, I do not even use a halter. The last time that the vet looked at her eye and stained it for ulcers, she did not even sedate Kimber. Having a fly mask on all the time really helps with the deer flies on trail rides! Check out the ad on Facebook for photos and videos https://www.facebook.com/groups/597675344376401
