“OLAF” 2014 grade Fjord gelding, about 15h
Sporty Fjord alert! You do not want to miss out on this boy! Olaf is an 11 year old Fjord gelding looking for his new partner. This boy has been successfully shown in Training Level dressage and schooling First Level. Very amateur friendly, with a kind, willing personality and a huge heart. More on the whoa side but wakes up when required without too much effort. Olaf also loves to trail ride! He’s been camping, swimming, and has even participated in a viking reenactment event. Not much rattles this boy. Bridges, fireworks, tarps, noodles, machines, you name it. Olaf lives his life in a “go with the flow” attitude.
Olaf would be suited for an advanced beginner, though I always recommend they have an experienced person to help them along. I seriously can not say enough good things about this guy. He’s been a joy to have around and everyone adores him. His family is deeply saddened to see him go, but sometimes life takes us on journeys we don’t expect and decisions need to be made. An excellent home is an absolute must!
Olaf is great for all his handling. Trailers well, ties, stalls, respects fences, great in new environments and genuinely gets along with everyone, human and horse alike, that he meets. He is up to date on all his cares. No special needs or maintenance, but would do better in a situation where his weight is monitored and not on a lot of grass (easy keeper).
