A great mare who’s been there done that, speedy, and loves her job. She’d be a great fit for a 4-H/OHSET/NYRA kid who needs a horse that can do it all. She’s got a lot of speed on her and needs an intermediate/confident rider to compliment that. In the years I’ve had her I’ve used her for gaming, cow work, and OHSET with the occasional trail ride to the mountains and beach! My senior year we qualified for OHSET state in barrels and cow sorting, and she qualified for 4-h state in barrels, poles, and figure 8. Been exposed to it all from dogs running between her legs to pool floats strapped to golf carts rolling by. She’s the perfect age to have a good mind and plenty of experiences, but still have the speed and drive to compete. She’s an easy keeper (currently outside with a gelding and round bale 24/7), but needs to be in a stall with a run as she gets claustrophobic and bored in a regular box stall. Lucy loves to do her job and haul out to play days and sortings, and unfortunately I just can’t give her the time she deserves with college out of state.
