Socks came to us the start of his 2 year old year and we have put every ride on him. He’s been an outstanding individual right from the start with his good looks, good mind, and huge amount of ability. Socks is kind, gentle, and likes attention, but he also has a ton of feel, can really move his feet and is willing to do anything you ask. We have used him in the rough mountains, cowboying on the desert and spent a lot of time in the arena as well. Socks travels out nicely, crosses what you point him at and is a willing partner to everything we ask. He is never hot or foolish and has never offered to buck but he has so much feel he might not be as forgiving to a novice rider as some horses are. Socks scores well, can really run, stays easy to ride throughout the run and can really face sharp. Heeling, he’s free and honest but stops deep and stays solid on the rope. He’s on track to start going to jackpots and or to take to the rope horse futurities next year. Socks is fancy broke, with a sliding stop, fancy spin, and slow easy circles.
