Boss is a handsome hard working 16 hand 12 year old John mule. He is a sweet guy with an excellent disposition: calm, willing and easy to handle. Boss is very safe and sane for anyone to ride. Came to Wisconsin from a reining trainer in Utah in 2020, where he continued on with Dressage lessons. Found his way to me after his owner aged of riding after a shoulder injury. Hes roped, drug things, had guns shot off him, parades you name it.
This guy is easy on the ground: easy to catch, easy to halter, load, tack up, bathe, clip (roach mane), feet, just all around stands quietly for all handling. He leads on the trail, or goes in the back. Extremely road safe: parades, highways etc without a second thought. How you ride him is how he will respond. If youre looking to relax and drink a beer, so is Boss. If you've drank too many coffees today and want to hustle to make it back fast, Boss is ready.
A loving home where he will be appreciated for his inteligence, training and versatility is desired. Long story short Boss is a super cool dude ready to take someone somewhere - and Im too busy with my cowhorse & opening up a feed store to give Boss the main horse energy he craves. Boss has main character energy - he wants to be the reason you've come to the fence or the barn and he wants to work. Will get butt hurt if hes not your favorite I swear. Upon moving "homes" he does need a few days with good fencing to settle in. The mule in him comes out for a bit until he finds the next human to fall in love with, then he's back to good ol respectable Boss.
