“SCOUT” 2016 grade Haflinger/QH gelding, about 14.2h If you are looking for a partner who will be your best friend, Scout is your boy. This guy is so so sweet and wants to have a steady relationship with his person. Scout is an experienced, handy trail horse who has been many miles and lots of things. He in no way wants to be the boss and loves having a handler he can look to for confidence when he gets insecure. Not spooky, just unsure and wants to know he’s doing things right. Scout is good for all his handling and is handy broke. Will neck or direct rein. Knows leg cues and goes WTC, though his canter is not arena finished (loses balance and breaks gait). Scout can sit and pull into work, will ride out alone or in a group. Limited arena riding and it’s not where his heart truly lies. Scout will be best suited for a confident intermediate rider, as he will look to them in moments of insecurity. UTD on vax, coggins, feet and deworming. Currently barefoot but doesn’t love super rocky ground so might do better with a set of fronts at some point. Easy keeper, and I mean easy. Limited/no grass option is best for him and is currently on a ration balancer and netted grass round bales. Rock is a handy, experienced trail horse looking for his new partner. This cool dude rides alone or together, can sit and go back into work without problem. He’s been out on many state trails, exposed to many things and loves to have a job. Arena work is ok in his mind but he hasn’t done much of it and it’s definitely not his favorite. Rock is handy broke. Neck or direct rein, knows leg cues but is currently just a touch rusty and a little out of shape. Goes WTC but his canter is not arena finished (loses balance and breaks gait). Rock is good for his handling but does do better with someone who will remind him to not get too pushy or distracted by other horses. He was used for breeding as a young horse so get infatuated with mares. Best situation would be a gelding only home. Supposedly was driven when he was younger too but we currently have no knowledge on how he goes. Undersaddle he will do best with a intermediate rider but he’s had children and grandparents on him with supervision. The boys have been together for three years and get along splendidly. The family would love to see them s
