Extremely picky sale, preferably to fjord-owning/knowledgeable individuals! Maja, out of all my fjords she’s the most therapy/trail head bound of the group. Traditional fjord style body and mind, stubborn until there’s a cookie involved kinda girl. I brought home Maja and her sister last fall, I was very interested in her sister and wanted to see how her half-sister Maja would do coming with her to my farm. They both have been absolutely wonderful, loving, sharing, typical fjord that once in a lifetime horse. I have five including her, and as someone who deeply cherishes her horses I tend to keep my babies for life. However, I really think she could thrive somewhere in cooler climates as she’s traditionally more heavyset than my other more athletic style bred fjords. She could be someone’s die-hard trail horse, or even a therapy horse for young kids (with proper training). You can hose her down, she stands well for the farrier, leads and all appropriate age skills for a yearling. I’m currently raising five young fjords under 4 and it’s been surprisingly easy given their lovely temperaments. Even my colts are laid back and chill. Really can’t go wrong with this breed coming from good loving people. Maja was imprinted by her owners at birth and has been doted on since she arrived in May “given her name”. Another fun thing to add about Maja is her warm dark caramel color, thick mane and tail and big expressive eyes, a trait I learned has been passed down from her dam Peaches. If you have read this far I hope you take her into consideration. If you’re someone just starting out, they say green + green = bad but it really depends on you and the horse you choose. Can’t go wrong with my girl all of my fjords are exceptional. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body, just here to snooze in the fall grass and eat good 😊 Originally I was thinking of her to be a broodmare but starting the season with one and another coming up, I want to give her the opportunity to someone like me who would want to keep and love her for life. Please feel free to ask any questions. She’s registered, UTD on everything, shots/deworming, vet checks, sound with no scarring she’s a beautiful baby girl, if only I could keep every single baby forever.
