Meet Shay, a 2011 AQHA palomino splash mare with a pedigree packed full of legends. She’s a granddaughter of the great REMINIC, earner of over $92,000 LTE and producer of over $3.9 million in the reining, reined cow horse, and cutting pens. Her top side features the blood of both MR GUN SMOKE (LTE $8,476+, PE $5+ million) and the bottom of DOC HOLLIDAY, a respected sire known for athleticism, cow sense, and trainability.

Shay is currently open, making her the perfect candidate for your spring breeding plans. I’ve personally only AI’d her, but she has also been successfully pasture bred in the past. She’s been a solid producer for me—I've absolutely loved the foals she’s given me! She consistently puts color, shape, and a good mind on her babies.

She is an easy keeper, low maintenance, and settles into a herd with no issues. Shay is the first to meet you at the gate when she knows there’s a bucket involved—your best friend at feeding time. While she can be a bit cautious to catch in big spaces or unfamiliar groups, she comes around quickly and is easy to handle with a little routine.
