Hook is an attractive well-built AQHA 9 year old, 16.0 hand Sorrel gelding with a kind disposition, good bone and foot. He is extremely gentle and good natured. He is well trained and fun to ride. In the arena Hook will hold collection when asked and has a nice smooth jog and lope. He lopes out on cue and takes his leads. Good stop, backs with ease and has a good one hand neck rein. He will Side pass with ease to operate the gates as well. He carries the flag, is good about crossing and carrying the tarp as well as all of the other sensory objects and he handles everything that we expose him to with little or no concerns. He is very user friendly to operate and is fun to ride. Hook is solid to ride out anywhere, from busy neighborhood streets to our rugged mountain trails, he is one you can trust. When riding around our neighborhood Hook is at ease with all that we encounter and ride past. From the fast passing vehicles to the mini Farm and the neighbor’s dogs that always ambush us as we ride by. Hook is equally outstanding and sure footed to ride out on the trails. He will peacefully ride in any position of a group as well as out on his own. Crosses the river, small creeks, trail bridge and deadfall. He navigates our steep and rocky terrain like the seasoned trail horse he is. Hook has been used on the ranch for ranch horse chores and on cattle. He is a versatile gelding that would excel in several riding disciplines.
