Lucy boasts great breeding and has been started and trained professionally. She was started as a late 3 year old simply because of falling through the cracks by her previous owner, so she has about 18 consecutive months under saddle. I've owned her since December of 2023. She requires no maintenance currently, PPEs welcome. Her papers hardly need explanation, but Lucy is sired by SEVERANCE CHEX AQHA 3x World Champion in working cow and Superiors in Heading and Heeling. NU CHEX TO CASH NRHA Hall of Fame stallion and 2 million dollar sire. On the dams side, SHINING MONEYMAKER is an NRHA money earner and own son of SHINING SPARK, NRHA Hall of Fame stallion and 2 million dollar NRHA sire and 1 million dollar NRCHA sire. Lucy can perform all of the required reining maneuvers: picks up correct leads, can lead change, slide stop, spin, and also perform leg yields, sidepass and has all the buttons. She can open gates, go over poles, drag a log, and carry a garrocha pole. Lucy has been in the branding pen and is confident around cows (however I have not roped off of her). She's good on the trail and in her 4 year old year went to Bryce Canyon National Park and rode the Peekaboo Loop which required careful navigation of switchbacks, climbs, decents, and hard or rocky terrain. Lucy travels and trailers well, stables, bathes, hard ties, cross ties or hitching rail. She goes barefoot with excellent hard feet, but is currently in sliders. She's always been UTD on vaccines and routine care, and just had a dental performed July of 2025. On to her show record. Lucy has competed in online trail competition in the novice division with trinity trail events, winning the series overall and a buckle. She executed going over poles, sidepasses, haunch and forehand turns, navigating a rope and dragging things, pushing balls, and more. In person, she's attended working equitation shows competing in Level 1 and winning daily high points in her division and also a series overall earning another buckle. In this she's completed excellent dressage rounds, can navigate every working equiation obstacle including carrying the garrocha pole walk and trot. Lucy competed her first season at affiliated NRHA shows with IRHA in green horse, mares, and NRHA open. She's earned club LTE as well as top placings in each division entered. The unofficial year end standings has her in second in the club green horse and second in mares. Every show shes entered at she only gets better and better! Lucy is selling sound and with a bright future ahead of her. PPEs are welcome. Continue her in the reining or working equitation, or focus more on the ranch versatility. She would probably make a good barrel prospect too with all the body control and some speed. This gal is going to be your go to for just about any working discipline you want with the added fun of slides and spins. Her best companion would be someone who prefers a forward moving horse and
