VIDEO’S UPON REQUEST!! Koda was trained, and shown by Downunder Horsemanship Method Ambassador Sarah Fields, making him an Academy horse graduate. As an Academy horse, he knows all of the riding and groundwork exercises in the Fundamentals and Intermediate levels of the Downunder Horsemanship Method, as well as Trailer Loading and Training on The Trail. Koda competed in the National Versatility Ranch Horse Association ( NVRHA), placing Reserve High Point in the 2 Cow cutting, Ranchmanship, Ranch Trail, Ranch Reining and Box Drive Box classes. He has also completed Obstacle Competitions, placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in The American Horseman Challange Association (AHCA) He has also completed 6 months of professional reining training. He has traveled to many states assisting in teaching multiple Obstacle and advanced maneuvers clinics. Koda has been out on the trails a lot. He will cross water, go over all kinds of bridges, carry a flag, pony colts and more. Koda has been show by kids in 4-H and used for lessons! Koda has excellent ground manners and would make a fantastic show horse or trail mount. He leads, loads, ties, clips, and bathes and stands for the farrier like a pro. Koda has outstanding gaits and quick smooth upward and downward transitions. He can side-pass, pivot, spin, turn on the forehand, shoulder in, shoulder out, and has a nice stop. Ride him in a bridle or bridleless all day long. While he has never caught a live steer, Koda has been roped off of and has tracked a dummy and cows.
