Nior is the kind of mare everyone dreams of owning. She has the biggest heart, endless try, and a willingness to please that is second to none. No matter what job she’s asked to do, she steps up with confidence and grace. Since beginning her training program with Sara Tyree, Nior has been tested in every way imaginable and has never let me down. She has: • Gathered cattle and loaded trailers • Worked as a solid, dependable turnback horse in the cutting program (ridden by kids, customers, and anyone needing a hand) • Trail ridden alone and in groups, steady and reliable every time • Packed Sara’s short-legged dog home on the saddle when he couldn’t keep up (she even let him jump into Sara’s arms from the ground while she was mounted!) • Ponied young horses and been ponied herself • Hauled to town, ropings, obstacle courses, and shows with ease This mare will go anywhere and do anything. She crosses water, trudges through mud, opens and closes gates, and stands tied all day like a seasoned veteran. She loves baths, cookies, and attention, and is the only horse in my barn who will leave her grain to meet you at the gate for some love. Nior is safe, sane, and an absolute joy to have in the barn. She has been exposed to it all and handles new situations like she’s been there before. Horses with this kind of brain, heart, and versatility are few and far between. If you’ve been searching for that once-in-a-lifetime partner—the kind you can trust, enjoy, and be proud to own—Nior is it.
