selling my 14-16yr old (per vet) Bay mare Blaire 14.2hh.
Great trail horse. Keeps the same pace on the way home as she goes on the way out.
Good on the ground, trailering takes a little grain but will hop right in with grain, amazing for ferrier. Barefoot and trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Nice solid feet.
Takes bit well, comes up to you in pasture. A little cinchy when tightening the cinch but nothing crazy, no bite, just pins ears back.
Previous owner drug barrels behind her, threw rope off her, brought her to a play day.
I have only ridden her around my property.
Easy keeper, just on pasture and round bales. Gets treats from my kiddos which she takes from them very gently. Respects our electric fence that we don't even have turned on.
She is buddy sour so I would say is suited for intermediate or up rider.
This is why I am selling as I am more of a beginner rider and only rider here. She is well suited for a beginner if riding out with others.
She was just to the vet, has this years vaccines, floated 8/2025, coggins, X-rays.
Has a lump on her right front leg by knee, vet says it is cosmetic as X-rays show no concerns.
