Cali is a thick, year round dark golden palomino that turns heads with her physique, color, athleticism and mind. She also produced a duplicate of herself with her stunning yearling filly. Cali has hall of fame cowhorse royalty both top and bottom with Shining Spark and Peppy San Badger. She’s had a ton of pro training loves to work a cow and she lopes a gorgeous balanced, round and comfortable circle that makes people stop and watch when you ride her. Moves off of your legs, seat and soft mouth. She has a strong work ethic and has tons of trail miles. Crosses water with ease, traffic no problem. Does all of the finished horse things ties, quiet, loads, extensive hauling and she’s followed me to Hawaii flown there and then back to the mainland. She had a laminitic episode and has returned to soundness but I am going to sell her as a broodmare and occasional trail light riding horse. No competition or hard core competition to keep her sound and happy since she’s a young horse. She took on first cover, perfect delivery and a phenomenal mother. She loved that experience and her filly is stunning and here onsite. I had considered keeping her and breeding her, continuing to ride her occasionally but I’m finding I get far too attached and struggling to sell her filly. This is a high end horse with looks and bloodlines. I do not have to sell her and I will be very careful and selective where she goes.
