Zara – 2017 Thoroughbred Mare 16H
Zara loves to jump and is an absolute blast to ride. She’s honest to the fences with no stop, buck, or rear—just a safe, forward ride at the canter with a big stride and heart. She is currently being brought back into work after a two month break due to her attempt at being a recip mare. She was previously in an eventing program.
Affectionate and sweet-natured, Zara thrives on attention and enjoys being groomed and cuddled. She does best in a quiet, low-key environment and will flourish with a calm, cool, and consistent routine. 😎 she is currently happy in a stall/paddock in the main barn, but can also live out in pasture.
Zara could be brought along by a junior or amateur with OTTB experience. Due to her sensitivity both on the ground and under saddle, Zara is best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider in a structured full program due to her forward canter and enthusiasm over fences. With that being said, this horse is NOT naughty in any way-she thrives to please you and wants to be the best girl. She’ll do anything for her person!
Zara doesn’t require any maintenance at this time and has X-rays on file (neck, back, front feet, and hocks).
