Bloomer is a 12 year old black john mule that stands 15.0 hands. He will take care of the inexperienced and is handy enough to go do a days work on. This awesome mule is big boned and has the frame to go any direction you want. He has a soft mouth and a one hand two finger neck rein, big stopper, moves off leg pressure, and rides around like a quarter horse. He handles long layoffs perfect, he has been hauled all over and has been trail rode and hunted in some of the roughest terrains. He makes every step count and is as sure footed as a mountain goat. Bloomer will stand like a statue for mounting and dismounting. He will stand quiet on a high line, hobbled, or staked out by a single foot. Bloomer has also been used to pack supplies up the mountain, and to haul your meat off the mountain. Bloomer has been used for all kinds of ranch work from doctoring cattle on the farm to checking fences and doing everyday ranch work and as a bonus you can lead dogs off of him. Bloomer is easy to catch, clip, bathe, loads/ unloads perfect, gets along with everything in the pasture, stands for the farrier as well as the vet. We can’t say enough good things about this mule.
