GYPSIE ROSE MOON KITTY aka Miss Kitty is a 7-year-old APHA mare that is as versatile as she is gentle. Standing 15 hands, she’s quiet, kind, and safe enough for kids, yet talented and willing enough for a rider who wants to go in any direction. She has a solid foundation with some reining training in her background, giving her soft, responsive movements and great body control. She has a smooth, collected lope and a slow, pretty jog that makes her a dream to ride. She’s been introduced to barrels, pole bending, started tracking and roping the dummy, and is taking it all in stride. We’ve even begun shooting off her, and she handles it with ease! Miss Kitty does know a trick or two, she will lay down on command, side pass to the fence for you to get on. Whether you’re looking for a family-safe mare or one you can take to the arena, ranch, or trail, she’s ready to go to work and look good doing it. Kitty has babysat my four year old son and taken the best of care of my 80 year old grandmother in and out of the arena. This mare has a gorgeous mane and tail and gets compliments everywhere we go. She does have a small scar on her left front pastern, that does not affect her and is 100% sound all the way around. She is straight legged and correct as you could put one together. We have hauled Miss Kitty from Minnesota to California and she is by far the easiest on the trailer. She’s easy to clip, bathe, shoe and hauls like a veteran.
