Meet freddy. He is a 14.2-15h(havent taped him) 10 Yr old gelding. He is GRADE. Got him from a friend who said he is a curly horse who just diddnt get the curly gene. Unsure if that is true but he has a very mustang look. He is short but STOUT. He has very good bones and muscle. Solid feet. He has gone barefoot the whole time ive had him with no issues.
He is green under saddle. Responds to pressure, backs, takes a bit. All the basics he is nothing fancy. He has bucked when i used spurs on him so i havent used them on him and he has done fine. I havent had him buck under saddle in a long while, i always lunge him before riding. He can be a little bit sassy when its time to be fed but ive been correcting him and hes gotten much better. He can get pretty herd bound but ive since seperated him from his buddy and he doesnt acknowledge her anymore. He is low in the pecking order, gets along with any horse, Will groom them right away. He loves his mares tho.
He is a very easy keeper. He is fat off of basic hay and forage right now. He has the speed and the build to make someone an awesome roping/cow horse or even gamin. You could eve use him as a trail horse. I am selling him because i recently bought a finished roping horse and i need room in my barn, And i am just at a really busy point in my life right now and i dont have time to train him. He is such a sweet horse, I call him a golden retriver in a horses body because he will quite literally lick you like one. He is gonn amake someone an awesome horse one day, And a good home is a must(:
