This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. This horse is truly one of a kind, and if life circumstances didn’t demand it, I would never let him go. He’s the kind that makes you look forward to going out to the barn every single day — smart, personable, and always the first to meet you at the gate. He’s not just a horse, he’s been a partner and a friend. ✨ Highlights: Registered AQHA Trail safe, steady, and surefooted Confident riding out alone or in a group — leads or follows happily Traffic safe and unfazed by wildlife or obstacles Natural cow sense — has pushed cattle and been roped off of Experienced in overnight trips and hunting camps Floating trot, balanced canter, picks up leads with ease Incredibly responsive to the seat and light aids, rides bridleless Patient and kind with kids (lead line, brushing, sled pulling in winter) Loads/unloads easily, stands for the farrier, barefoot, and an easy keeper UTD on vaccines, teeth, and worming Gets along with other farm animals HUGE personality, curious, bonds deeply with “his person” This loyal gelding is as versatile as they come. He’s just as happy on solo elk hunts as he is poking along on a trail ride or pulling sleds for my kids in the winter. He has a great W/T/C with floating gaits, one handed neck rein, big stop and carries a frame beautifully. He takes everything in stride — from traffic on the road to wildlife popping out of the brush. He’s athletic and handy with cattle with incredible cow sense, but quiet and easy enough to enjoy bareback in the pasture. He can sit for weeks without being ridden and come back the exact same horse. He has the biggest personality of any horse I’ve ever owned — curious, engaging, and genuinely attached to his people. He is patient and kind with my kids on the ground and on a lead line, but because he’s so sensitive and responsive to cues, I believe he’s best suited for an advanced beginner or above under saddle. But safe, safe, safe with zero buck, bolt or rear. I can’t say enough good things about this gelding. He’s beautiful, he’s well broke and incredibly responsive, he’s versatile, and a giant puppy dog ready to follow you around all day. He’s steady, reliable and a true joy to ride. It absolutely breaks my heart to sell him, but I know he’s ready to bless someone else the way he’s blessed me. He’s ready to be your partner in whatever direction you want to take him. Serious inquiries only, please.
