Wild Bean is a handsome 2016 Thoroughbred gelding (by Champ Pegasus out of an A.P. Indy mare). Standing 16.1½ hands, Wild Bean is as affectionate as they come, has a good mind, and a genuinely engaging, people-oriented nature.

Wild Bean has a solid foundation in Training Level dressage and is schooling up to Second Level movements. He goes nicely in a snaffle, sensitive to aids, has nice gaits, and enjoys the structure and connection of flatwork. He has been ridden in a bitless bridle as well. He has good ground manners—he cross ties quietly, trailers well, is respectful of space, and is great neighbor in the barn. He loves to cruise around the barn and is great to hack around on the buckle. He has also been ridden and ponied on trail and is happy to explore. Goes well solo or in a group.

For the last three years, Wild Bean’s main focus was .70m jumpers and over time, we realized it causes him more stress than it does enjoyment. Out of respect to the wonderful horse he is, we are no longer asking him to do it. He is happiest in a program that values consistency, kindness, and connection over pressure and speed. The ideal home is an intermediate, calm rider looking for a capable, charismatic partner for dressage, flat disciplines and trails.
