He was started as a mounted shooting horse but needs more arena work. Bought 2.4 yrs ago from Texas, he was Cow bred, and worked cows, but I don't know that sport. Only used him for Trail Riding, and Mounted Shooting games. Sent to 2 trainers for 30 days each, and ridden several times by an English trainer, videos to come. He has a perfect job out there, but I just need a more seasoned mounted shooting horse, that's all. He is not much of an arena horse, although he has spins, and a canter to die for. Will go from a stop to an immediate jump into the canter. Nice gaits. Sound, no vices. No bad habits. Comes to you immediately for some attention. Trailers perfectly, stands tied patiently, very very sweet on the ground. Round pen perfection. The only thing is that he did buck a couple times due to a girth/saddle issue. Lost my confidence riding him in arena.... .not on the trail. You'll need a wide saddle. On trail, he is awesome will canter for a very long time comfortably! Currently being worked daily, to build more muscle. Still young & growing will finish out a very stout big boy. Not for a really tall rider since he's only 14.2. Not for a beginner, need intermediate rider.
