2014 Lineback Dun Mustang Gelding named "Aker" available to the right home. https://youtu.be/jQGRYV_hV8s Aker has been a part of our program at Aslan Dressage since 2015, rescued as a foal and raised in our family. Aker was purchased by a rider at our barn last year but she has just had a baby and knows she can't provide the attention he deserves right now. Suitable for an intermediate rider or an advanced beginner working with a trainer. Also a great horse for a trainer to add to their lesson program; he is safe, reliable, friendly and a healthy/low maintenance horse. A patient confidence builder - as a coach, he is my go to horse to help a rider rebuild their confidence and fine-tune their balance and position. Great feet, barefoot, kept UTD with trims every eight weeks since being a weanling. Dental kept UTD, last float May 2025.rnrnFun personality and very affectionate, Aker is easy to lead, stands patiently on cross-ties or at a hitching post for grooming, bathing and tacking (for hours), easy to load and haul, and can be led from a golf cart / side by side. Lives happily outside 24/7 - comes when called like a puppy, very easy to catch. Outstanding in the round pen for liberty work and can be easily lunged traditionally as well, in a halter or a bridle, with or without side reins. Most of Aker\'s experience is with beginner riders, so Aker is much more experienced as a Walk/Trot horse but with a bit of time with an intermediate/advanced rider, his canter work cobwebs will clean up quickly. No bolt/no rear, just rusty in the canter and encouraged not to canter with his beginner riders over the last few seasons. With the cooler weather, we will be working on his canter this autumn, price will increase. A great all arounder with a good foundation - currently schooling Intro Level dressage with a beginner, with the talent and foundation to be a fun 1st/2nd level horse. His dressage foundation sets him up for success in any direction you would like to go in your discipline of choice. Aker thrives off of affection and being in a consistent program but would also make a wonderful quiet companion horse for someone looking to enjoy a safe, affectionate horse from the ground.
