Beowulf is a lovely Sand Wash Basin gelding, with the looks of a warmblood and the intelligence of a Mustang! This guy is a great size, with big healthy feet, lofty movement and a willing temperament. Although, sensitive and not the most confident boy, this is a REALLY cool horse, with tons of nice buttons and the ability to do a variety of things. Beowulf was started in a professional program out of the BLM in 2022 and has since continued in the program, being leased by students, used in lessons, taken to shows, trail ridden etc! He has lots of Dressage training, loves trail riding and is jumping small courses with a variety of riders. Over fences, he requires someone confident, or a good building up of confidence, but once there he’s very willing and easy! Beowulf thrives on group living, and can get stressed with solo life, so he is looking for a situation similar to what he has been enjoying since coming off the range! He’s ridden western, English, bareback, snaffle, hackamore, just a cool guy! We cannot keep them all, but we have also immensely enjoyed having this not for the last few years, so we are happy to wait for the perfect situation! Happy to share videos upon request.
