Marlys is looking for her person to bring out her full potential!
She has a kind, in-your-pocket personality and solid ground manners. Easy to catch, great with hauling, bathing, and the farrier. She’s very clean in her stall and gets along with all horses in the pasture. She would be a great addition to a serious breeding program.
Under saddle, Marlys is forward and responsive, best suited for a confident, knowledgeable rider. She’s lightly started on the barrels and goes out on trails. She knows her leads, walk/trot/canter transitions, and can open/close gates with ease. She handles kids, livestock, show chaos, dogs and traffic very well.

✅ 6 panel AQHA negative
Disclosure:
• Has pulled back while at the trainer’s barn. She went into training nervous and very anxious . Since then she has become quiet and confident. She has not offered to pull in months.
• Mildly cold-backed – benefits from being warmed up slowly before riding.
This is a talented mare with a great foundation and a ton of try. With the right rider, she’ll make a fun and rewarding partner.
