Teagan is a very talented mare! She has excelled as a field master for Sierra Nevada Hounds, she loves the challenge of show jumping, and has enjoyed leisure trails & adventures too. She loves having a job and once a positive relationship is developed - she will do anything for you! She has schooled at the 3'3-3'6" level, and competed at the 90s, but has the potential to do more. Teagan is quite forward and uphill. She is careful with her feet, well balanced, brave, determined, and takes you to fences or anywhere you want to go with confidence. She would be great at 3-day eventing, fox hunting, show jumping, trail rides, and possibly dressage with training. Her rider will need to be skilled at asking for aids politely, be willing to listen, carry a soft hand, and ride with confidence. She is not for beginners or children. She has had the last year and a half off work due to a flexor tendon strain. It was healed after 9 months, but I gave her an additional 6 months off to assure proper healing. She is 100% sound now and I have current videos to prove it. My price reflects this minor injury, otherwise I would be asking double. I have started Teagan back into work slowly with walking trail rides and she couldn't be happier to have a saddle on her back again. At this time the buyer/rider should be prepared to gradually get her back into working condition before any jumping occurs. She will be able to jump no problem, but fitness needs to come first. I have owned Teagan since she was a yearling, so I know her entire history. She is current on vaccines, teeth, feet, etc. She clips, loads, ties, and does whatever you need her to. She will need to go to a loving and hopefully forever home as she is a special gal. The only reason I'm selling is because my work life is too consuming and she deserves more attention then what I can provide at this time. Additional photos and videos available upon request for serious inquiries only. Vet check welcomed.
