Coming 4 year old grade Welsh pony standing 13 hands. Dewy was rescued with his mother and several siblings as a 2 month old baby. They were unhandled at the time and now Dewy has been in training for over a year. Although still young he shows alot of promise to becoming a very well rounded pony.rnrnSo far he...Lunges, Hard ties, Cross ties, Bathes, Goes on the hot walker ,Exposed to cows and even "chased" them, Free jumps anything you put in front of him, started under saddle both English and Western, Was started in a halter and just graduated to a bit. He loads well and has been hauled out for a trail ride with several other horses where he was absolutely perfect. Went to a play day and was fantastic in the busy atmosphere. Next plan is to take him to a show Nov 8th.. Dewy loves attention and wants to be good. He still has a small amount of flightyness, but he does not have a spooky nature to him and he's not dangerous. A little more time and I think he will be a very solid citizen. I think he could go in multiple directions at this point. He could be a little jumper or even a western pony! More woah then go. He would be excellent for a young teen wanting to finish a horse or a trainer looking for a project to finish. He is still young, growing and maturing mentally and physically so not yet suitable for a beginner to take over, but id feel confident putting a beginner on supervised at this point. Utd on everything including teeth floated. Lives in a herd with both mares, geldings and a mini. A PERFECT HOME IS A MUST. We really love this little guy and he deserves the best!
