I purchased Rocco in 2016 from Adams Horse and Mule Co. In Mt.Vernon Kentucky. Rocco is a confident, well trained forward moving horse. I've personally ridden him over 1000+miles through all sorts of terrain and mountains. Standing at 16.3h , he has a beautiful presence and a sweet face and knows his name. He enjoys the trails and being in the woods and has had exposure to a variety of wildlife; deer, turkey, dogs, cattle, goats, as well as farm equipment, road traffic, bikes, utv's and even F18 fighter jets flying overhead. I've ponied him as well as ponied off of him, crosses creeks, streams, river and all kinds of bridges. This summer I used him as a trail guide horse here in the Virginia mountains of which he would either lead or follow in a multi-horse group ride. Additionally, he was a recent participant in a 50 head Longhorn cattle drive that was a 5 mile long push down a mountain with 30 other horses. He's a very confident solo rider for those who just want to go out by themselves whenever. Rocco still has plenty of get up and go in him and would be a great horse for a beginner, someone who’s been out of the saddle for a while, an older rider, or someone who's looking for a cool, seasoned, level headed, confident, safe horse to ride. He's in great health, does suffer from temporary summertime allergies here in our mountain valley. Absolutely No vices, no lameness, great hooves, stands great for farrier, bathing, ear contact and loads trailers like a pro. No buck, no bolt! We do stall him at night of which he enjoys his space but also does well being left turned out either by himself or with buddies. UTD shots/wormings, Neg coggins, teeth floated this past ***Tons of available photos and videos upon request **
