“SS Tally that Win” is a coming 4 year old titled South Steens Mustang mare. She was gentle from day 1 and loves attention. She has just finished her fifth month of professional training and has never bucked, reared, bolted or tried to bite. She currently stands at 14.1 hands. The training focus has been on trails with over 50 trail rides under her belt. However, she likes to jump and her trainer said she is open to anything he asks of her. Tally is offered to an exceptional home, upper 4 figures. PM me for more information, and videos. If this add is up, she is available. Greets you at the gate. Catches and leads quietly• Loads and backs out of trailer. Hard ties, stands quietly and hobble. Lunges in round pen or on a line Backs up, haunch/forehand turns, side pass on ground and under saddle. Walk/trot/lope under saddle. Exposed to obstacles like bridges, poles, etc. Ridden away from home and loves the trails – she is calm and confident. Learning collection and self-carriage. Has had ropes thrown from her to catch a cow dummy. Opens gates and mailboxes under saddle. Side steps to a mounting block. Loves to jump. Has carried a pack saddle. Eager to continue learning more. Cons: Doesn\'t like a tight back cinch and can be particular about stable mates :-). A note from the trainer - “I guess her time is up isn’t it. She’s been a very good girl. Getting better every day. And only gonna get better as she grows. I can honestly say anything I threw at her she has done. She has matured so much. It just a pure pleasure riding her now. When I saw you guys last and you mentioned her jumping. My wheels spun. And I started lightly sending her on the line over poles. Then tiny jumps ( that she put zero effort into going over lol. ) no challenge. But she never refused. And if she hit one cause it was too easy and plastic wood and mounting blocks flew everywhere. She absolutely didn’t care. lol. I personally took her over a couple jumps. And she loved it. She aimed for it. I asked Anna if she would ride her for me. And Anna absolutely loved her. And had a great time. I’ve spent months making a nice trail horse. And she’s a dandy. So when I took her in the arena she was like now what hahaha. Where’s the creek trees and creeks haha. She’s easy to haul. Never excited. Just goes with what ever we are doing. She got to go in Anna’s English saddle. Not a care in the world.”
