If you are searching for a special horse, your search ends here. Malacoda is a head-turning mare with a sweet disposition and a love for people. She is always the first to greet you in the field and will readily put her head out of her stall for a friendly pat.
Currently barefoot with excellent feet, she is easy to handle on the ground, loads without issue, enjoys baths and clipping, and stands patiently for the farrier. Mounting is a breeze, and her gaits are incredibly smooth. Malacoda is more of a push ride but does move out when asked and is comfortable in a snaffle bit. She's been shot off for mounted shooting, schooling fences (2'), lots of trail rides, with smooth gaits.
She is current on all vaccinations, recently had her teeth floated, and has a valid Coggins test. Her primary veterinarian has been Piedmont Equine.
She has been with her current family for the past five years. Regrettably, due to the owners' lack of time to dedicate to her, this beautiful and talented mare is now available for sale, as she is far too special to simply remain in the pasture. She had one filly in May 2019.
Her dam, Mandy Lightning, is by the sire Right Hand Man (from Melissa Bailey’s Walking After Midnight farm). Her sire is Mirandy’s Turbo, bred by Jeremy Aucker. Pre-Purchase Exams are welcomed and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
